the story behind aurestone atelier
Aurestone Atelier was born from a deep love for creating beauty with meaning, pieces that feel refined and elevated while remaining grounded in strength, resilience, and purpose.
As a working mother raising two children while balancing the demands of family, business, and everyday life, I found myself drawn to the contrast between strength and light. The tension between carrying life’s responsibilities while still creating beauty within them became the foundation of both my artwork and the story behind the name Aurestone.
“Aure” is inspired by light and radiance, representing hope, grace, beauty, and the light that carries us through each day. “Stone” represents strength, endurance, foundation, and the resilience built through faith, motherhood, hard work, and perseverance. Together, Aurestone reflects the belief that beauty and strength were never meant to exist separately.
My faith is deeply woven into that story. The strength and hope behind this brand do not come from perfection or ease, but from the steady presence of God through every season of life. Throughout Scripture, light and stone symbolize refuge, foundation, guidance, and endurance; themes that continue to inspire both my work and the heart behind it.
Every Aurestone Atelier piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in my studio using layered textures and materials inspired by natural stone formations and organic beauty, including resin, concrete, quartz, crushed glass, metallics, and mineral elements. I am especially inspired by the way light interacts with texture, the shimmer within rough surfaces, the brilliance found in fractures, and the beauty that can emerge under pressure.
No two pieces are exactly alike. Each creation is uniquely handcrafted with intentional detail, designed to bring depth, warmth, and luxury into the spaces where life unfolds. More than décor, Aurestone Atelier is about creating meaningful pieces that reflect the beauty of resilience, the refinement found through life’s shaping seasons, and the light that continues to shine through them all.
